Ian is an entrepreneur with business interests in Somaliland and throughout Africa. He was introduced to Edna in Hargeisa in 2015 and following a visit to Edna’s hospital he has been a passionate supporter of the Hospital ever since.

Ian has visited Somaliland over 20 times including an 8 day trip with his wife Kim who spent the whole time working with Edna at the hospital and outreach clinics.

Ian arranged the donation of 2 shipping containers full of medical equipment and supplies and with the support of the Foundation paid for the shipping costs to Somaliland.

And on Edna’s 80th birthday the BBC News filmed and broadcast the container being loaded at Ian’s home in Sussex.
